Martijn Hagens (1971) was appointed as chairperson of the Management Board and as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Eneco as of 1 March 2026.
Since 2024, Martijn has been serving as the Senior Vice President & Head of Business Area Markets, as well as a member of Vattenfall's Executive Group Management. From 2015 to 2023, Martijn held the same positions for the Business Area Customer & Solutions. Prior to that, he held various leadership roles within Vattenfall and Nuon starting from 2003. Martijn began his career at Accenture.
Martijn holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from the Eindhoven University of Technology.
