Daan Hendriks

Daan combines his passion for innovation and sustainability in his role as investment analyst at Eneco Ventures. After completing his degree in Science & Innovation management at Utrecht University (BSc) and Erasmus University Rotterdam (MSc), he gained commercial experience at several climate tech startups before joining Eneco's Energy Trade traineeship.

Since 2024, he's been helping the Ventures team with scouting for novel innovations and conducting market, strategic and financial due diligence. What drives him? The opportunity to support founders across Europe who are building solutions for a more sustainable energy system. He is a strong believer in the transformative power of innovation for societal change and is excited to be part of making that happen.

When he's not analyzing the next big energy innovation, you'll find Daan creating music with fellow musicians or exploring the Amsterdam area on his race bike.
